Abstract

The knowledge provided by the geomorphological science have provided materials to understand the dynamics between natural and social processes that act on relief. In this sense, this project aims to develop geomorphological relief map of the city of Mirante do Paranapanema-SP, because so far it has not made a geomorphological map on the scale of urban and regional planning (1: 25,000), involving the main geomorphological features present in both urban areas and in rural areas of the municipality in question. For its preparation will be used to refund-3D technique through the ALOS / PRISM Mirante do Paranapanema, São Paulo State, using digital aerial photos methods that have been developed together with teachers of the Department of UNESP FCT Cartography. Understanding the importance that this document has to municipal planning, their lack generates a gap in the management of natural resources and understanding of the processes of occupation by the company of different landscape forms. Thus, this research project will be the basis for directing research both in interdisciplinary academic field as well as for the local government (city hall and public agencies). It should be noted also, that this scholarship application is linked to the project "Development of geomorphological mapping using digital stereoscopic techniques in the Far West Paulista region" - CNPq Productivity Notice Research - PQ - 2013 Level II (Case 306944 / 2013-8 ), which you can acquire images ALOS / PRISM that make up the covering range of the town of Mirante do Paranapanema, Brazil.
