Abstract

This work aims to compare the intensity of tissue repair excisions performed in rats, diabetic and non-diabetic, through the effect of different protocols with low intensity laser, and the variables will be the dose, frequency of the irradiation and the way it will be delivery. 80 rats were randomly divided into two major groups - diabetics and non-diabetics - and in to them, there are 8 small groups - Group C: anesthesia of the animal and the shaving; Sham group: shaving and surgical excision; Group L1: surgical excision and a central point irradiation at a dose of 10J / cm2 on day 1; Group L2: surgical excision and irradiating at a central point and four lateral points at a dose of 10J / cm2 per point on day 1; Group L3: surgical excision and a central point irradiation at a dose of 50J / cm2 on day 1; Group L4: surgical excision and a central point irradiation at a dose of 10J / cm2 on days 1,2,4,6 and 8; L5 Group: surgical excision and irradiating at a central point and four lateral points at a dose of 10J / cm2 per point on days 1,2,4,6 and 8; Group L6: surgical excision and a central point irradiation at a dose of 50J / cm2 on days 1,2,4,6 and 8. The animals are anesthetized and shaved on the dorsal region on day 1 of the experiment, and then the surgical excision will be performed with the aid of a die and a punch of 6 mm in the back of the animal. At the end of the experiment will be conducted clinical and histological analysis (morphological, by immunohistochemistry and Masson's Mallory).
