Abstract

This proposal intends to further the scientific initiation research that is being developed in São Paulo, at Escola da Cidade, funded by Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), since September of 2015. This investigation is about the representations of the Argentine military dictatorship in the architecture and in the urban landscape of Buenos Aires. From the general objective of reflecting about the argentine case to think new possibilities [about the Brazilian's dictatorship memories] in Brazil, this proposal focuses on three central objectives. Firstly, the internship at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, guided by Profa. Dra. Ana Guglielmucci, proposes a theoretical immersion into the theme where the hurtful memories are inserted; secondly, it is an opportunity to approach the Argentine literature; and thirdly, it is a way to contact the memories institutions that are being studied from São Paulo.
