Abstract

The aim of this research project is to analyze the theses and dissertations published on the bank of the CAPES dissertation whose subject - indicated in the heading and/or on the keywords - is democratic school management, between the years 2005-2014. The proposal is part of a project integrated which has as main objective to analyze the (re) configuration of the educational/School Administration area in Brazil after the critical period of the 1980s, comparing the theoretical development and practical developments in the management of systems and school units. This undergraduate research project shares the importance of epistemological studies as a contribution to the deepening of the field of education, in our case, the subfield of school management, and is limited in meta-analytical approach, characterized as research surveys. Our intention is to raise constitute database and analyze the material, showing the limits and production capabilities.
