The goal of this project is the study of mathematical models of optimization for the problem of treatment planning for radiation. The mathematical modeling of the problem is the challenge to deliver a high dose of radiation in the tumor, enough for their elimination, and, at the same time, minimize the radiation in the neighboring regions composed of healthy tissue, reducing the maximum complications in these regions that are often critical.
