Abstract

From an analytical and structural approach, during the research developed in the author's regular master´s project in the country (process 2014/27102-0), there were identified the compositional and stylistic procedures and the recurrent technical demands in Nuevos Estudios Sencillos - a set of ten studies with a pedagogical bias for the guitar - by Cuban composer Leo Brouwer (1939). Using the master's results as a basis the research to be carried out abroad aims to develop the final step proposed in the regular project, which is the study on the technical and interpretative issues inherent to the analyzed works. Through this, it will be suggested and proposed tools that will assist the instrumentalist in the work process for the preparation and execution of these studies. For the realization of this stage, relations will be established between the information obtained regarding the musical analysis and the guitar technique. In addition, we intend to conduct a practical study of Brouwer's works in order to conclude the internship with their execution in public for sampling of the theoretical proposals elaborated through the development of this research.
