Abstract

The research proposal aims to prepare a small library of analogues of Glibenclamide in order to be in vivo evaluated as anti-hyperglicemic agents. Analogues containing the piperazine moiety as a spacer between the amide and phenylsulfonil groups of Glibenclamide will be prepared. The use of flow chemistry methodology will be considered for scaling up the synthesis. (AU)
