Abstract

In recent decades, there has been great search for new quantitative methods that can analyze patterns, determine the importance of explicit spatial processes and develop reliable models. In Brazil, one of the most effective ways for regional planning is through the Water Resources Management Units, which through the hydrographic basin committees, give legal support to the planning of such units. The network community model is an area of scientific research that seeks the complex systems through the use of metaphor network and graphics mathematics, being an important tool in managing and regional and local planning and can be applied in different systems, as urban, hydrological and ecological. In view of these considerations, this study aims to evaluate the urban performance indicators, based on the prospect of integrating the connectivity between networks (roads, hydrological and ecological), present in the landscape of Hydrographic Tiete-Jacare Basin in São Paulo state. With emphasis on the analysis of the temporal dynamics of uses and land cover in the periods of 2007 and 2017 and the provision of connectivity between elements present in the landscape, through the application of Space Syntax, the Hydrological Connectivity indices and Connectivity and Ecological Fragmentation indices (AU)
