This project aims to catalog, and to identify and, consequently, understand how it got there and how they developed the dissemination and promotion of the iconic and positive image of Fidel Castro as a political and revolutionary leader in Cuba in the period immediately after the triumph of its Revolution (1959). The sources of our research are based primarily on articles and photographs published by the journal Revolución between January and June 1959 presented and diffused Castro pictures alluding to the hero figure and "Savior" of the nation. From this source - the Cuban journal - and bibliography additional of authors that will help us understand the period and iconographic analysis that will be required for the progress of the research that regards this project, it intends-find some of the reasons that can explain the popular acclaim arose from that moment on behalf of Fidel. Nevertheless, although it is intended to comprise, from such research, importance of the press and information load of images for the construction and dissemination of an idea or forward message to your viewers.
