Abstract

This Scientific Initiation project aims to develop a web platform (Dashboard) to managing a virtualized infrastructure as a service (IaaS) in cloud. The infrastructure management information is stored in an ontology intended for that purpose. This ontology, called IaaSOnt (IaaSOntology), was established in a doctoral project and seeks to reflect the entire contextIaaS managing a cloud provider including not only the functional parts (real machines and their states, instances of virtual machines and their states, customers, users, software, billing, scheduling algorithms, etc.), but also includes in its context nonfunctional elementsor qualitative (quality of service (Quality of Service - QoS) attributes QoS, service level management (Service Level Agreement - SLA), etc.).The ontology is accessed by computational agents who handle such information to have a better management of infrastructures. However,currently customers who hire the cloud provider's services and own provider administrator, you only have access to this information by opening the ontology of the file with a program called Protégé. Although there is a version of software for the Web (WebProtege), it is meant for reading and displaying any kind of ontology and, thus, displays the information in a way that some ontologists are able to understand, but this way is not exactly what cloud providers customers are accustomed to display. In this way, the creation of a dashboard is required, that reads the ontology, display and handle such information in a way that managers and customer IaaS platforms are able to make changes efficiently and intuitively.
