Abstract

Prejudice is an expression of violence, constituted as a social allocation of malignancy manifested by hostility and aggressive rejection against determined groups. The study aims to describe the predisposition to racial and sexual prejudice, investigating how the intersections of both happen among school youth in peri-urban context. To accomplish this, will be realized a quantitative, descriptive and exploratory study based on the closed questionnaires application to a sample of 344 young dwellers of Pitangueiras/SP municipality, aged 15 and 19 years, in their venues and leisure places. Psychometric instruments will be used by this study in order to find a correlation between predisposition to subtle/implicit and blatant/explicit prejudice against people of homoaffective sexual orientation and blacks among young people of this municipality. It is a study to build knowledge about the relevance of social markers race and sexual orientation in the production of vulnerability and rights violation. Thereby, contributing with recommendations for planning and improving services, programs and policies in the school and peri-urban context.
