Abstract

The study of chronic pain in children and adolescents is growing, especially in relation to idiopathic musculoskeletal pain, one of the most prevalent causes. It involves many aspects, some of them, not yet identified, between organic and psychosocial causes, and change the quality of life of patients. So, for your treatment, we seek a biopsychosocial model, requiring a multidisciplinary team to properly treat the patient. For this, further studies are needed they can delve into these sample sizes. Objective: This study aimed at a demographic and clinical evaluation of patients treated at the Pain Clinic at the Pediatric Rheumatology Department, as well as a correlation between epidemiological and clinical factors and the impact of the approach.Methods: Survey data from medical records of patients treated as outpatients pain. After, formulating a spreadsheet computer with the data collected for descriptive statistical analysis of results.
