Abstract

The current research proposal for an internship abroad will be developed at École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christiane ZIVIE-COCHE in order to develop an essential part of the main Scientific Initiation project developed at MAE-USP, which is to understand the possible uses, functions and meanings of the funerary amulets in Ancient Egypt. The research activities are characterized by the analysis in loco of archaeological material (funerary amulets) from Louvre Museum in Paris, France. In addition, I will consult specialized titles on the main research subject in the library of EPHE and Louvre, which contains the largest and best equipped collection in Egyptology. Finally, the internship abroad also includes the participation in academic activities organized by EPHE. (AU)
