Abstract

In this project, we propose the analysis of lithic materials chipped the hunter-gatherer group Archaeological Alvim, located in the municipality of Pirapozinho, SP, in the area of the Lower Vale do Rio Paranapanema, São Paulo side. Such studies have been conducted in some western São Paulo and certainly now proposed will contribute to the understanding of the occupations of hunter-gatherer groups in this region. For this, studies on the production technology of evidenced artifacts. The approach will focus on the operational chain of production, analyzing the whole process of manufacture of objects from the collection of raw materials to disposal of the instrument. (AU)
