Abstract

The study will be divided essentially into two parts in parallel. The first is to develop computational techniques of Monte Carlo simulations to study in detail the performance and sensitivity of X-ray space observatories, especially aplied to the experiments protoMIRAX and MIRAX, of INPE. In the second part, the candidate will develop software tools for analysis of astrophysical X-ray data. He will also perform analysis and interpretation of proprietary data of the group for publication.
