Abstract Galaxy evolution can be studied either through spectroscopy or photometry. We plan to use both these methods to recover information about the formation of lenticular galaxies and to study how they relate to spiral galaxies. We will also study multi-band photometry of the Large Magellanic Cloud or of one field in the Strip 82, as observed by the Brazilian robotic telescope T80-South and its wide-field camera. Results from this work will be used to calibrate images taken with this telescope and will be of great use for the astronomical community. (AU) | |
