Abstract

The basic health care proposed by the Family Health Strategy aims to promote practices of prevention and health promotion, linked to the families in their social and cultural contexts. The understanding of teenagers as agents of their own sexual and reproductive health and planning underlines the paramount nature of collaborative practices about sexual and reproductive health of adolescents among professionals with a USF (Family Health Unit); the researcher; and the young individuals. The main objective of this study is to create comprehension of the unfolding of a collaborative intervention between the researcher, the team of professionals from a USF branch and the local adolescents, based on a research methodology stemming from Social Constructionism. The corpus will be developed in a USF of a small town in the São Paulo state countryside. The number of participating young individuals can be around 10, aging between 15 and 19. The number of professionals may vary from a minimum of five to a maximum of 10. The developing of this research will be: 1) Recurring and proactive communications with the health care unit and its in-house professionals; 2) Local community daily life experiencing and communications to asses their demands; 3) Continuous exchange with the adolescents themselves; 4) Promotion of the group meetings 5) Group meetings with adolescents about sexual and reproductive health. The analysis will be performed upon field notes recordings from all corpus stages and audio recordings from the meetings and their transcriptions. It is expected that the study will provide subsidies for the construction of public health policies aimed at the promotion of adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
