Abstract

This Scientific Initiation Project aims to study the reactivity toward two pesticides of films containing a polyoxometalate, phosphomolibdic acid (HPMo), entrapped in hybrid matrixes formed by: I) organically modified silica network, "ormosil" and II) electrostatic layer-by-layer self-assembly. Electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry and diferential pulse voltammetry will be used to explore the electrocatalytical properties of the films toward the pesticides ametryn and hexazinone. Using this investigation, systems able to detect environmental species can be improved. This project is a part of a Research Grant funded by FAPESP (Process: 2015/24136-4). (AU)
