Abstract This proposal of Research Internship Abroad presents a research project to be carried out at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de la Sociologie Économique (LISE) - CNAM, under professor Christian Azaïs supervision. As a general objective, I intend to achieve theoretical and methodological gains for the analysis of the different ways of living the work in the popular commerce, taking into account the relations between the social trajectories of the subjects and the processes of engagement in those markets, and reflecting about the effects on the different perceptions and experiences of workers. The material already acquired from the research with the workers of the popular commerce in São Paulo will be the empirical soil on which the analysis in the internship will be developed. It will be pertinent the questioning about how and in which situations the subjects insertion in the popular commerce happens, in a multiscale perspective that takes into account social contexts and individual arrangements, characteristic approach of LISE members. In this sense, being in contact with the researchers and the activities held in the LISE will contribute both theoretically and methodologically to the development of the investigation pursued in the doctoral research. Particularly with regard to Christian Azaïs works, that emphasize the importance of analyzing the "gray zones" in the world of work and the "hybridization" processes, situations that lead to contexts of uncertainty and "institutionalization of the vague". In the duration of this internship, I will dedicate myself to bibliographic research in French language, to participate in activities promoted by the LISE, besides to attending conferences and events from other academic institutions in Paris and surrounding (like l'Institut des hautes études de l'Amérique Latine - IHEAL Paris 3, l'École des hautes études en sciences sociales - EHESS, among others). | |
