Abstract

This proposal involves the development of new strategies for multivariate calibration in chemical data, in which two innovative strands are included: (1) Development of new processes to evaluate and improve accuracy, i.e. how well a model will work and (2) Maintenance of a prediction model already built, considering the influence of environmental, instrumental, physical and chemical conditions. The impact of these factors should be measured, which should involve an update of the multivariate model to include these new conditions. This project will be carried out in the research group of Prof. John H. Kalivas located in the Department of Chemistry of Idaho State University, campus of the city of Pocatello, Idaho - United States, during the period from September, 2017 to June, 2018. (AU)
