Abstract

Handling UX aspects during software development have been explored by several works in recent years. In the context of agile methods, many challenges to align the practices of UX to the agile have been faced by the agile teams. In order to overcome these challenges, some studies have posed proposals regarding the integration of UX to agile practices. However, little has been investigated about how UX aspects are effectively informed by members of an agile team. That is, how these aspects are represented and communicated by the team's members in their workplace daily. Considering that the team communication is a key value in agile methods, this project aims to conduct an ethnographic study on how the communication of the decisions about UX aspects in an agile team happens. The focus of this project is in uncovering what forms are adopted by the team and how they are used to inform the UX aspects. In this way, the understanding on how information of UX aspects flow through the development process can be achieved. In addition, the findings of this project can unfold insights about new challenges around the communication issues in agile teams to be explored in the future.
