Abstract This research project proposes a methodology to carry out the medium and low voltage (MV-LV) integrated planning of electric distribution systems. In the planning, this project seeks to solve the problems reported in the literature related to obtaining a single model for the MV-LV integrated planning. In the model, the project considers the connection relations between the MV-LV systems, seeking to obtain the least cost for the integrated planning, which does not occur in the specialized literature. In the modeling problem, it is necessary to include renewable and non-renewable sources of distributed generation in the MV and LV networks, as well to consider indexes related to the reliability of the system and the charging of electric vehicles during the integrated planning phase. Due to the stochastic nature of the renewable sources of distributed generation, evaluation of the solutions must be carried out through an uncertainty evaluation method. The search for quality solutions must be carried out through a multiobjective variable neighborhood search algorithm, together with the proposal of analytical optimization models for solution in commercial solvers. With this methodology, we intend to find better technical and financial results when compared with the practical solutions adopted by the distribution companies, as well with the works found in the specialized literature, which does not consider the complete integration of MV-LV systems and not consider the parameters related to the current and voltage transformation relations between the two systems. Tests with literature systems should be carried out under different scenarios, in order to demonstrate the efficiency and robustness of the developed methodology. | |
