Abstract

The aims of research are evaluate fracture reduction (osteotomy) through mold of acetabular joint surface. For realization of the project will be used 21 cadavers (42 hemipelves) of cats from small animal surgery service of the Veterinary Hospital (HOVET) of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia (USP). Each pair of hemipelves belongs to a treatment, being a side treaty and the contralateral your control. This will not receive osteotomy or acetabular stabilization. Will be obtained eight groups, each consisting of seven hemipelves: screws, cerclage wire and polymethylmethacrylate group (G1), locking plate group (G2) and clamp rod internal fixation group (CRIF) (G3), screws, cerclage wire and polymethylmethacrylate control group (G4), locking plate control group (G5) and clamp rod internal fixation control group (CRIF) (G6). The reduction of the fracture (osteotomy) will be performed qualitatively by means of acetabular joint surface mold. Will be used for condensation silicone, dental impression material, composed of polydimethylsiloxane. (AU)
