Abstract

Cinema is considered an important instrument of learning, cultural enrichment, entertainment and leisure. In Brazil, according to data from the National Film Agency - ANCINE, there are about 2.870 cinemas, whose market is expanding. However, much of the Brazilian population - people with severe visual impairment - is excluded from all the benefits that the experience of films and audiovisual products can offer. What excludes them (blind people) is both the limited supply of services and films with accessible resources. It is believed that User-Centered Design (DCU) and Service Design (SD) methods can contribute to the creation of an inclusive cinema service, from the involvement of all stakeholders related to the process. This project intends to use the interdisciplinary and complex view of Design, as well as methods associated with this field, for the development of a certification mark, which establishes parameters capable of qualifying spaces and services related to the exhibition of films regarding their inclusive capacity.
