Abstract

Introduction: Patients with COPD require continuous treatment, with physical exercise being "A" evidence in the treatment of these patients. Although the benefits of a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program (PRP) are known, adherence to them is still lacking. In view of this, it is necessary to develop interventions that improve the adherence of COPD patients to PRP. Objective: To verify the acceptability and satisfaction of patients with COPD to the insertion of a functional circuit associated with combined conventional training in the short term and to compare with the combined conventional training. Methods: Previously the quantitative evaluation the patients will be divided into two training groups: conventional combined training and conventional combined training associated with functional circuit. At the end of the training sessions, the patients will be evaluated in a qualitative and quantitative way. Statistical analysis: Analysis of qualitative data will be performed through content analysis, which will be developed as a means of categorizing data for classification, organization and compaction purposes. After this initial analysis, we will discuss the differences in results until a consensus is reached. The end result of this data analysis will be sent to the discussion group participants to see if the findings truly reflect their perspectives and points of view. The qualitative analyzes will be performed and stored in the NVIVO program (QSR NVivo version 9). In the quantitative analysis, the data will be transcribed to an excel spreadsheet and described in mean / standard deviation and in percentage (categorical data).Key words: COPD, Patient satisfaction, Exercise (AU)
