Abstract

In recent years there has been a substantial increase in society's dependence on services provided by software systems and the need for increasingly complex solutions. Isolated systems have not been successful in meeting these demands. In this scenario, Systems-of-Systems (SoS) have emerged as the result of the interoperability of several independent systems both operationally and managerially, providing more complex solutions that could not be performed by any form system Isolated. SoS often support critical missions that can often bring threats to human integrity. SoS should also offer mechanisms such as the so-called dynamic architecture, which allows the reconfiguration of its constituents at runtime so that it remains in operation regardless of the weather that threatens its functioning. However, this dynamic property can not be validated in static specifications of SoS software architecture. Thus, considering the high cost and the threats to implement a SoS without the validation of its dynamic properties, this scientific initiation project has as main objective to design and implement a mechanism for the transformation of SoS static architectures into simulation models. Such a transformation allows dynamic properties to be validated during the SoS architectural design, anticipating problems and possible failures. (AU)
