Abstract The attitude control using as actuators reaction wheels has been one of the most popular way to stabilize and reject external disturbances in aerospace devices. From the controlled change of angular momentum rate of change, using for example reaction wheels, it is possible to control the oscillation and direction rate of change in rigid bodies in space. The idea here is to use the angular momentum variation in amplitude and in direction using the systems dynamic to make the control far from equilibrium points easier and without saturation. In order to perform it the present proposal intends to apply a Variable Speed Control Moment Gyroscope mechanism in a reaction wheel pendulum. It will be applied a gyroscopic torque in situations where the saturation happens and also will be controlled the reaction wheel angular velocity in order to avoid singularities. (AU) | |
