This project aims to study collaboration through the Internship Program (BEPE) linked to the research project under development with the assistance of FAPESP (2017/01780-0) of the Tourism Course (UNESP - Campus by Rosana). In this way, we aim to improve the theoretical and methodological knowledge about the concept of cultural landscape and geoprocessing tools, for analysis of railways, and later its applicability to Brazilian cases, in specificity to the municipality of Rio Claro - SP. For this we will have the tutorial assistance of the architect María Isabel Alba Dorado who will help us in reading the concept of cultural landscape and area evaluation through Geographic Information System (GIS) tools. Afterwards, we intend to carry out a small case study in Vila Nueva del Rio y Minas, in the the Andalusia's Province and technical visits to industrial spaces, comparable to the objects of study in Brazil. We believe that the use of GIS tools can contribute to the identification of sets and analyzes, as well as the recognition of use and maintenance of these spaces. (AU)
