The production of coffee in the region of Rio Claro - SP, it was necessary to create means of transport that could facilitate the commercialization of the grains. Therefore if have the object of study of this research, the train station of Rio Claro and Floresta Estadual Edmundo Navarro de Andrade, previously called Hortos Florestal Edmundo Navarro de Andrade, built for maintenance and construction of railways. The aim of the research is to analyze the tourist potential of both objects, to verify them as cultural and natural resources articulated from the tourist and interpretative point of view. Regarding the methodology, the study will be carried out through bibliographical and documentary research, in loco research and testing of new technologies for patrimonial and tourism analysis. Then expected that the research will help to reduce the lack of academic studies related to the Rio Claro region. (AU)
