Abstract

The goal of the present project is to use digital techniques of video and animation as a means to communicate scientific knowledge. In the current context of information access through the internet and social networks, videos stand out as one of the formats with wider reach. With this in mind, the idea of the project is to promote scientific communication through the creation of high quality science videos, susceptible of being shared in social networks. The project will be developed along with the team of the Núcleo de Divulgação Científica, from the University of São Paulo, and with the collaboration of different scientists with experience in scientific communication. Also, our audiovisual productions will be further discussed in the research and creation group MultiTÃO, from the Laboratório de Estudos Avançados em Jornalismo (Labjor) da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. The synthesis of these discussions will be packed in new communication products which will be published in agencies associated with Labjor, such as the magazines ComCiência and ClimaCom. (AU)
