Abstract

For functional assessment, walking tests have been reported as reliable and valid for various populations, quantifying the individual exercise capacity and responding to changes during the rehabilitation process. Objective: To analyze the construct validity of the 2-minute walking test, with the hypothesis of moderate to high correlation with the amputee functional questionnaire (MFA) and physical aspect of the SF-36 questionnaire for patients with amputation of Limb undergoing rehabilitation. Methods: Fifty patients older than 18 years with clinical diagnosis of lower limb amputation at any level between 2010 and 2016 will be selected. All patients should have received their prosthesis through the SUS by the Hospital das Clínicas Rehabilitation Center of FMRP-USP and had undergone rehabilitation in the prosthetic phase for at least six months at the time of the evaluation. The 2-minute walking test will be performed, which will be correlated with the MFA questionnaires and the physical aspect of the SF-36 in order to obtain the Spearman correlation coefficient with the significance level of p <0.05.
