Abstract

This project aims to study the conformation of the metal hydride based on magnesium for the conformation in small cylinders to be used in the manufacture of a metal hydride tank for hydrogen storage and so measures of thermal conductivity is a fundamental part. For the thermal conductivity measurement a system will be set up and preliminary thermal conductivity measurements will be evaluated. Afterwards, the variation of the thermal conductivity with the variation of the processing parameters will be evaluated. These results should contribute to the project to build a solid hydride tank for hydrogen storage. (AU)
