Abstract

The Atlantic Forest biome in Brazil has great biodiversity, despite considerable degradation suffered by anthropological action. The Laboratory of Post-Harvesting of Horticultural Crops of ESALQ / USP has been dedicated to the study of native fruits of this biome. Based on the physicochemical quality analysis previously carried out in the study of cambuci, uvaia, grumixama and cherry of Rio Grande, accessions with relevant characteristics will be selected for in natura consumption, processing and / or obtainment of nutraceutical compounds.
