Abstract

Early Impasses in the establishment of the games constituents of the subject and, consequently, difficulties in access to play symbolic, are important signs of psychological barriers in the constitution. In a psychoanalytic perspective, the autistic position if configures how the framework more complex and challenging in that these events are present. In this perspective, this work aims to investigate the peculiarities and the transformations of the playing of a child with autistic traits, as well as discuss the importance of play in the process of psychic constitution; differentiate the games constituting the subject of symbolic play and discuss the limits and possibilities of playing in the therapeutic process of children with autistic traits. It is a qualitative study and retrospective, from a convenience sample, and provides for the analysis of video recordings of 15 weekly sessions of psychological therapy, in the period of 4 months, of a child of 2 years and 5 months. In addition, will be analyzed data from medical records and testimony of the psychologist responsible for the case, obtained from structured interview. (AU)
