Abstract

In Brazil there have been records of working with groups since the 1950 decade. Although these practices hasn`t found acceptance as soon as they were implanted, they have proliferated due the search of new models of action on the mental health area. At this context, emerge the innovative proposal of the Grupo Comunitário de Saúde Mental (GCSM) as a strategy to promote mental health and personal ripening that can be applied on different contexts. The GCSM meetings have three different moments: Sarau, Experience Sharing Stage and the Reflexive Stage. This research objects to study The Reflexive Stage. It`s a study made with the analysis of historical documents, at the quantitative-qualitative research method, descriptive and exploratory. For the research it will be selected randomly 24 record of audio from GCSM meetings at Hospital-Dia from 2015, 2016 and 2017. To the quantitative approach it will be made a statistic descriptive analysis from some aspects of The Reflexive Stage, and for the qualitative approach it will be used the Thematic Content Analysis. The data will be discussed within the scientific literature about working with groups and with researches already made with the GCSM. This study has the potential of contribute for increasing the knowledge about the working method of the GCSM and also to the scientific literature about groups and the practice of working groups.
