Abstract

Negative impacts such as congestion, emission of pollutants, traffic accidents, noise, among others, are usually caused by a high demand for light vehicles that deliver to urban centers due to a high number of necessary freight trips. The Generators Poles of Freight Trip are examples of projects that attract a great number of trips, contributing to the increase of these impacts, increase of the flow of vehicles and difficulty of access of the people to the consumption of goods and services in a certain region. The objective of this scientific project is to analyze the fright flow data obtained in the O-D Research performed by the Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego (CET), and propose models of trip generation that can minimize the impacts generated by enterprises and commerce local. A priori linear regression models will be used as methods of analysis. It is hoped that it will also be possible to identify which regions within the São Paulo Metropolitan Region are most affected and, in the future, to use these data to encourage improvement and to develop urban logistics in these regions in a sustainable manner.
