Abstract

The academics memorials are institutional documents required by the Brazilian universities so you can enter an institution or progression on the teaching career. The main goal of these documents to be elaborated is to present the main facts of the university life of those who write them, while some of the narrators use a more subjective speech, others emphasize the objective dimensions in their writing. Twenty-two memorials presented to the contests of associate professorship and teacher's entitlement of the History and Anthropology department of the University of São Paulo, between the years of 2000 and 2015, will be gathered, filed and analyzed. The goal is to characterize forms of self-narrative that identify not only the female condition in the construction of personal and professional memory of the professors, but also referential of the intellectual fields in which they stand and that it becomes possible to characterize those narratives as examples of autoethnography and ego-history.
