Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the choice of treatment for the management of primary molars carious lesions influences the exfoliation time of the primary tooth or timing of eruption of the successional tooth. For the execution of this cohort study, we will evaluate 100 radiographs of a cohort of children who had their primary teeth restored with The Hall Technique (HT) and their contralateral tooth restored with either a different restorative material or no restorative intervention. A trained and calibrated examiner will assess the levels of radicular resorption of the primary molar with the Hall Technique crown and its contralateral tooth, as well as the developmental stage of their permanent successors.
