Abstract

This project expands the goals of a developing doctoral project, entitled "Collaborative Practices about sexual and reproductive health of adolescents in a Family Health Unit". The doctoral project aims to create comprehension of the unfolding of a collaborative intervention between the researcher, the team of professionals from a USF branch and the local adolescents. The present project is a proposal for internship abroad, in a modality of cotutela, to which is added a broader objective: to describe, from the conversational particularities in group, discursive practices of adolescents, in order to focus as they explain their experiences in sexuality, centralizing gender as a category of analysis. The material to be analyzed are the audio transcripts of 14 group meetings and 11 initial interviews and five evaluation interviews. This material will be analyzed by the social constructionist analysis of the discourse, which understands the performative character of the language. In this way, discourse analysis, in line with the proposals of the social constructionist and feminist movements will provide support to elucidate how adolescents mean issues of sexuality and gender, and how these are negotiated in the conversational process lived in the group.
