Abstract

The use of gypsum in conservationist production systems such as integrated agricultural production systems (SIPAs) still raises doubts regarding the methodology to be used. The present work aims to evaluate which of the five methodologies of recommendation of the use of gypsum in different sustainable systems of agricultural production is the most efficient in relation to the movement of gypsum in the soil profile and to correlate with agricultural productivity in the Cerrado region. The methodologies of Sousa, Lobato and Rein (2005), Vitti et al. (2008), Demattê (1986), Raij et al.(1996) and Caires and Guimarães (2016) in four sustainable systems of agricultural production: no-tillage system (SSD), agropastoral system (SAP), silvopastoral system (SSP) and conventional pasture. Evaluations of the chemical attributes in the 0-0.20m and 0.20-0.40m layers in October in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, physical attributes in the layers of 0-0.05, 0.05-0.20 and 0.20-0.40m in October 2017 and October 2019, evaluations of the agronomic characteristics of maize and soybean crop and yield of dry matter of grazing and crotalaria. This research seeks to assign which of the methodologies of recommendation of use of agricultural gypsum is the most effective for the production systems studied. (AU)
