Abstract

This postdoctoral research will be carried out in the light of the theoretical support of the French Line Discourse Analysis (Pêcheux), aiming an analysis of discourses about women nowadays. In our thinking, the relatively stable senses about women reverberate in the discourses of contemporary subjects, thus making the basis for the words about women today from a memory of saying, with implications in social practices, especially concerned with the position of (and for) the woman in the present time. In this research, we move from discourses that are marked both in the mediatic discourse and in the literary discourse, in view of the words about the woman that are present in the literature concerning Classical Antiquity. In consideration of the different socio-historical-ideological conditions in which these discourses were produced, we will take into account the repetitions and/or slides of the senses that materialize in these words, in order to expose the ideological character of the senses that are constituted on the woman today, with a view to a denaturalization of these senses in our social formation. To do so, we will rely on the studies of Pêcheux (2010; 1999) about the role of memory in the regularization of the senses, Romão (2012, 2011, 2004) about the effects of network society on discursive subjects and her studies about women in the present time (ROMÃO, GARCIA, 2016, ABRAHÃO AND SOUSA, GARCIA, FARIA, 2017), among others. As regards the notion of archive memory, Romão (2011, 2014), and other studies related to the subject matter will support our investigation.
