Abstract

This research project intends to investigate the different forms of engagement and the different interests involved in the ethnographic encounter, considering, above all, the ethical and political dimension of the production of knowledge when carried out in sensitive "territories", that is, from the interlocution with subjects submitted to experiences of mourning, pain and suffering stemming from state political violence. In order to reflect on anthropological research that, although carried out in different ethnographic contexts, is based on such experiences, this research aims at apprehending how the dislocations between the ethical and the political, between professional responsibility and moral commitment arise in these researches, as well as apprehending the different "strategies" used by the researchers to deal with the "affections" resulting from this interlocution.
