Abstract

The field of Geographical Education, through the studies, meetings and dialogues made by professionals of the area, has gained space and importance since the 1980s. Using the vast bibliography in the field, we identify a concern of the same in relation to how the students are related to knowledge of Geography, using aspects of landscape, relationships and social dynamics, to understand how this knowledge is inserted in their daily life. In contrast, we also note that little is studied the way in which Geography participates in the spatial construction of students and how this knowledge contributes to their futures projects, taking into account the daily practices of high school students of a municipality with strong relationships with the rural environment, whose headquarters is a small town. In order to obtain the results proposed in the present project, we will have methodological procedures that will allow us to perform several forms of listening to the young students, both questionnaires, focus group, and document analysis that allow us to access the school geography through the teachers' lesson planning of the Liria Yurico Sumida State School, in Sandovaina-SP.
