Abstract

This text consists of a proposal for a research internship with the 'Center for research in communication, information and digital culture' (CIC-Digital) of the New University of Lisbon, an interuniversity research unit that develops, among others, research axes, understanding and analysis of the technological, cultural and social dimensions of the current digital conjuncture. In this proposal, we intend to collaborate with studies on memory and perception in its ontological and epistemological dimensions, from the analysis of intersections between the criticisms directed to the sciences and metaphysics by the philosophical proposal of Henri Bergson, and the challenges that the new digital conjuncture presents to its habitual understanding. In order to advance in this field of research, this proposal for a research internship aims to study, in a detailed way, nuances and articulations in the evolution trends of digital media, in order to present correspondences with the problematic of memory and perception, with a view to advent of digital. Therefore, it is proposed to analyze, in particular, the technological and social configurations of digital in its transition from an anthropocentric to anthropomorphic tendency, in order to evidence correlations and triggering of memory and perception in the complexities of its psychological and / or ontological dimensions.
