Abstract

Using the adaptation of Philip K. Dick's The man in the High Castle for the homonymous series as a object of study, this research is concerned with analyzing how the literary genres, subgenres and themes presents in the original literary work is transposed for the on-demand series, In the context of the new habits of consumers of audiovisual series content by streaming, in order to propose a scientific study on the relation between the literary work and the audiovisual product based on it.
