Abstract

When thinking about the theme "sexual diversity", the first idea that usually comes associated is that of "prejudice" and that concept derived from the various forms of violence. Several reports point to the increase in violence directed at LGBT groups, also denouncing the impact of the lack of public policies on the reliability of the data collected. Schools are a privileged place for the maintenance of these violence and the lack of specific policies on the subject directed at the school environment interferes with the increase of these statistics. In this context, several authors bring the need to deal with sexuality in the different levels of education in Brazil. In dealing specifically with science teaching, what has been published about addressing these issues in the classroom? Therefore, this project aims to raise the work carried out throughout all editions of the National Meeting of Research in Science Teaching (ENPEC), identifying statistical relationships between all the works and works of interest and verifying the theoretical foundation of the authors. For this, the project proposes the use of a bibliographic research methodology.
