Abstract

The activity plan of to this postdoctoral fellowship is related to the study of the association between consumption of ultra-processed foods and quality of diet in the population of Portugal. The plan includes three main activities: 1) monitoring and checking the dietary data evaluation of the Portuguese database; 2) analysis of Portuguese data on the association between consumption of ultraprocessed foods and indicators of diet's nutritional profile, comparison with synthetic indexes and contribution in the free sugar content of diet; 3) participation in Portugal data analyzes related to the association between ultra-processed foods consumption and obesity.
