Abstract

This subproject aims at identifying and evaluating governance patterns and representing spatially the institutional capacities and territorialities in the São Paulo Macrometropolis (SPMM). It focuses specifically on water governance and sanitation, taking into consideration climate variabilities, social demands and land use patterns, as well as the water distribution in the watersheds, which condition water supply and distribution and the sanitation services. Specifically, this proposal aims, in phase B of the third year of the project, support documentary research in public agencies and institutions and contribute to the activities of spatial representation of sanitation governance in the SPMM.
