Abstract

The following undergraduate research project aims to introduce the necessary theoretical bases to lead the student to understand the content of the electroweak Standard Model. Such introduction will be given through the study of the parity symmetry violation and the discovery of the neutrino, important twentieth-century particle physics results that underlie the bases of the electroweak Standard Model. This project was developed with the objective of preparing the student for postgraduate studies in the area.
