Abstract

Introduction: The increase in the use of technology causes workers to pass throughto use the computer for long periods, both on and off the job. Prolonged useis associated with physical inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle.Sedentary behavior is a risk factor for various health problems. THEchange of these habits can be promoted through the use of technologies.Objective: Develop an interactive application to promote changebehaviors in computer users. Methods: From a surveyThe bibliographical study will identify the modifiable risk factors withassociation with health problems in computer users. Nextmessages will be created to increase knowledge and promote change.behavioral characteristics of users. These messages may include recommendations torespect of breaks, adjustments in the work place, physical exercises, hydration, amongothers. The messages will be personalized, and the user will define an avatar,including personal information and current lifestyle habits. All this informationwill be implemented in an interactive application developed in Java language andyour Java Development Kit (JDK) development kit, both in version 12.Expected results: It is expected to develop an interactive application, based onscientific evidence, which promotes behavioral changes in users ofimproving their health and quality of life.
